JKLM Studio was founded in 2017 as a crucible and an archive for the creative projects of Kori Martodam and her collaborators. Since its inception, JKLM has fostered the development of five evening -length scored improvisations for performance. JKLM has also hosted and co-taught a number of classes and workshops in collaborative improvisation and real-time co-creation. In recent years JKLM has evolved beyond the borders of dance to include installations, visual art, writing, and reflection. As a studio, JKLM also exists as a workspace and so the content found herein is ever-evolving in keeping with the aesthetic and artistic evolution of its creator.
